Breakthrough Performances at Steven Brown Memorial Classic

Last weekend, 24 Calgary Patriots swimmers hit the water at the Steven Brown Memorial Classic, hosted by the Nose Creek Swim Association at the MNP Community and Sport Centre.

Our swimmers delivered an outstanding performance, racking up a total of 48 personal best swims and earning 11 podium finishes—including 7 silver and 4 bronze medals. Leading the way with two podium finishes each were Ingrid Kadatz, Leah Thompson, Eva Vaage, and Luca Young. Will Cameron, Charlie Serra, and Christopher Vaage each added to the medal tally with strong performances of their own.

A special shoutout goes to Madeleine Broadley and Aiden Katelnikoff for reaching a major milestone—both swimmers secured their first Trials time standards, with Madeleine qualifying in the 100m Backstroke and Aiden in the 50m Freestyle.
