Calgary Patriots Shine at KSC SC Invitational

This past weekend, the Calgary Patriots Swim Club proudly showcased the talents of our Bronze and Silver squads at the KSC SC Invitational, hosted by the Killarney Swim Club. The event was a true celebration of hard work and dedication, with 51 swimmers representing the Patriots and delivering outstanding results.

Our swimmers achieved an incredible 139 personal bests, demonstrating their commitment to continuous improvement. In addition to personal achievements, the team brought home an impressive 21 podium finishes. Among these, 10 were gold, 7 were silver, and 4 were bronze. Federico Martino led the way with a phenomenal performance, securing 5 gold medals. Noa Burger followed with 4 podium finishes, while Jade Boake and Will Cameron each earned 3 podium placements, showcasing their exceptional skills and determination.

The meet also saw the rewriting of three club records. Will Cameron set new benchmarks in both the 100 Free and 100 Back events, while Federico Martino surpassed his own previous record in the 200 Breast. These record-breaking performances highlight the remarkable progress of our athletes and their dedication to excellence.

A special congratulations goes to Sadie Miller, who achieved her first Provincial Trials time in the 50 Free. This milestone marks an exciting step forward in her swimming journey and reflects her hard work and determination.

The KSC SC Invitational was a true testament to the spirit and perseverance of the Calgary Patriots Swim Club. Each swimmer’s efforts, coupled with the unwavering support of coaches and families, contributed to a weekend filled with remarkable achievements. As we continue through the season, we are excited to see what lies ahead for our athletes.
