Excellent showing by Patriot swimmers at the Western TransMountain Festival

This past weekend (February 23 and 24, 2024) we had 24 Patriots compete at the Western TransMountain Festival in Seton. This was one of the first long course meets of the season for most of the swimmers. Even though it was a meet that we were training through, the senior swimmers who attended put up best times in 65% of their races which is incredible!

Bronze squad's Federico scored himself three new club records and a Western's time even though he's two years too young to go to the meet. Two more Western times were achieved from equally impressive swims from Silver squad's Ivan, who also set a new club record, and Gold squad's Jocelyn.  A new club record was also achieved by Levi.

Overall, the Patriots rose to the challenge and set themselves up well for our two upcoming meets, Provincial Trials and Provincial Champs.
