The Patriots brought some early winter heat to the Brookfield YMCA at Seton on November 8th for the CASC Speed Meet. The team raced hard and piled up the podium finishes, led by huge multi-medal performances from William Cameron and Samuel Bygrave. Aria Warwick and Hudson Blough also struck gold, part of a huge wave of Patriots earning well-deserved hardware.
The results board was lighting up with new qualifications all day long. A massive group of swimmers punched their tickets to the next level, with athletes like Charlotte Bratton, Sebastian Cristancho, and Willa Shortt leading the charge by racking up multiple new Trials cuts.
Perhaps the biggest story of the meet was the complete rewriting of our club's all-time top 10 record book. An incredible number of swimmers etched their names into Patriots history, with Samuel Bygrave, William Cameron, Levi Hildebrand, Hudson Blough, and Jade Boake all claiming new number-one spots. William also earned a national Top 1 Youth Recognition ranking for his 50 Fly, and a special shout-out goes to Gabrielle Nichols for dropping nearly 8% in her 100 IM.
