Meet Summary KSC SC Invitational

December 6, 2025

As the November chill settled over Calgary, the Patriots brought the heat inside for the KSC SC Invitational from November 21-23. It was a fantastic weekend of fast winter racing that saw our athletes rise to the occasion, leaving with a pile of medals, new standards, and some freshly rewritten club records.

Our swimmers were regulars on the podium, collecting a total of 15 medals, seven of them gold. Aria Warwick was a standout, securing five individual medals including a hard-earned gold in the 200 Breast, while Madden Murray also had a fantastic meet, grabbing a medal of every colour—gold, silver, and bronze.

The momentum continued with an incredible 58 new time standards achieved across the board. It’s a huge number that shows the depth and dedication of the team. We saw a big step up in qualifications, with Casper Nimmon, Kira Barber, Stella Pasalic, and Vera Swanson all earning new Provincial Champs standards.

The weekend was full of massive swims, but a special highlight belongs to Noa Josh Burger, who put together an incredible performance with five gold medals, two new Westerns standards, and a Top 10 Youth Recognition award. The club record book also needed a few updates, with six new top-three all-time swims being posted. Miia Sikorska and Rhilynn Mckibbon both powered their way into new top-three spots on the list.

Beyond the medals and records, the meet saw some phenomenal personal bests. Big congratulations are in order for Laila Wolfe, Aoife Macdonnell, Yuseung Lee, Evan Ng, and Emma Ramirez Amador, who all posted huge time drops in their events. Great work, everyone!
