Patriots Shine at 2025 Summer Festival in Lethbridge

This past weekend, 20 Calgary Patriots swimmers traveled to Lethbridge to compete in the 2025 Summer Festival, delivering an impressive showing with 98 personal best times and 12 podium finishes (2 gold, 5 silver, and 5 bronze).

A number of standout performances highlighted the meet:

• Aria Warwick earned her Championship time standards in both the 100m and 200m breaststroke—a significant achievement on her path to higher-level competition.

• Josie Johnson and Sophia Rippe each reached Youth Recognition Top 5 standards for 10 & Under swimmers. Josie hit the mark in the 100m breast, while Sophia achieved it in the 50m and 100m freestyle.

Podium Finishers:

• Nolan Curtis – 1 Gold

• Sophia Rippe – 1 Silver, 2 Bronze

• Audrey Thompson – 2 Silver, 1 Bronze

• Josie Johnson – 1 Silver

• Ria Veronica Mangubat – 1 Bronze

• Maddyn Rushfeldt – 1 Bronze

The 10 & Under girls relay team of Sophia Rippe, Ria Veronica Mangubat, Esme Hockey, and Josie Johnson added to the medal haul, winning gold in the 200m medley relay and silver in the 200m freestyle relay.
