Team Champs Season Kick Off

Welcome back everyone to a new season! Team Champs opened 2026–2027 with 203 Patriots and considerably faster times. Take: 1:06.12 in the 50 breaststroke at Team Champs 2025, became 50.88 this year. That's 15.24 seconds faster, plus silver and PBs in all three distinct events.

had a return worth celebrating too. Her 50 freestyle went from 47.31 at the 2025 opener to 37.63, a drop of 9.68 seconds over the year. Add a three-event clean sheet, and the annual appointment is looking rather productive.

At ten,gave one 50 backstroke plenty to do: 37.78 earned a first recorded Festival standard, a Top 5 Youth Recognition award and sixth on the club's all-time Top 10 list. She also reached new Festival thresholds in the 50 butterfly and freestyle. Quite a way to start the season!

reached a first recorded Trials standard in the 50 breaststroke and a career-best power-point swim in the 50 freestyle.added her first 14-year-old Trials standards in both the 100 and 50 backstroke, and PBs in all three of her events.

moved from third to second on the all-time 50 backstroke list with 29.63 and entered the 50 freestyle list at third with 26.39.put her 1:12.36 in the 100 backstroke to good use, too: gold, a new Champs threshold and eighth all-time.

There was plenty to celebrate beyond those rankings. Sixty-three swimmers recorded a clean sheet (nothing but green, a PB in every event). Look atand, who posted clean sheets with massive drops of 31.5% in the 100 butterfly and 27.7% in the 100 freestyle, respectively.

The closing 8x25 relay mixed the squads for a wonderfully chaotic finish. We spend plenty of time on individual results; put eight swimmers together and the club part gets rather hard to miss. We work hard, but we know how to throw down a good time.
